We have seen the potential of the use of videos on Social Media. Depending on which platform you are using, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc, – each large user base has , with each platform making it easier and easier to upload videos and easy to share them as well.
Here’s how you start marketing your business using videos:
1) Create a video with valuable content!
Give your audience something they don't know, but would like to! This type of video content is long-lasting, and has shareability.
2) Include a call to action at the end of the video
Don't forget, you are doing this for your business. The ask does not always have to be for a sale. It can be to follow your page, or share the video with someone who finds it useful. This is a great way to spread your brand.
3) Upload your video to your chosen platform
Each platform has its pros and cons. A platform that has the largest number of people might not be your best audience. You might be looking at one that has a smaller audience, but has a big market for your niche.
4) Add a description - This is important if you want your video to be found!
Even though the different platforms work differently in terms of their algorithm, ensuring that your video comes along with the right keywords and phrases gives it a nudge in the right direction towards your selected audience.
5) Be sure to include a link to your website (traffic drawing purposes)
If you have a website, this is a great chance to add some traffic and SEO strength to it.
6) Share your videos with your target audience
Last but not least, promote your video! This does not necessarily mean pumping ad dollars into it. But don't wait for your audience to stumble over it in the wide net. Actively share and talk about your video, and get others to do the same!
Remember, a very important part of video marketing is the sharing component. Get your subscribers or followers to share your videos with others to get more views. The more views you get, the higher your video will be ranked and the easier it might be found by others.
